Our story

From one food cart to four corners of Dhaka.

Shang High began in 2023 as a small food cart, steaming dumplings for the crowd at a Dhaka comedy club. People kept coming back for seconds.

In 2024 the cart grew into a restaurant in Banani, which finally made room for the drinks, curries and wok dishes that would never fit on wheels. Today you'll find us in four spots across the city.

The idea hasn't changed: Pan-Asian food from across Thailand, China, Japan and beyond, served in a place where you can turn up as you are, order too much and stay for the chat.
